Heather P. - Thanks to everyone involved in planning and running this exciting and fun event! So, when can we register for next year? :-)

Jere G. - Thanks Becky, Paul and the rest of the crew and all of the volunteers for a great event. This was my first trail run so I don't have anything to compare to but I thought it was awesome!! You all did a great job preparing for this event and it showed. I just wanted to take the time to let you all know that your hard work was sincerely appreciated!

Kenny - This was the first mega hike for my wife and I, and I wanted to say thanks for a job well done. The weather sucked but despite that it seemed well organized. Volunteers did a great job. Ready for next year.

Mark M. - From Dick Martin's headlamp showing us the path to the start to Becky's smiling face at the finish, the SSH was, for me, an outstanding adventure. I loved the misty, muddy day and the lush scenery and the incredible challenges the course provided. I'd also like to thank the other participants for their words and gestures of encouragement especially Ed, Jenny, and the Amy's, from York (you know who you are) who pulled me along for the worst part of the backstretch - thanks guys! Lord willing, I'll be back again next year. Congratulations to all who made this race a reality - it's a gem!

I had my apprehensions about the water crossings but decided (glad that i did!) to just don an "old reliable" pair of sneakers and pack in replacement "everything". In the end, they saw me through and nothing could have been improved upon with this hike! The SPONSORS - tremendous job on water, beverages, snacks and the picnic - whoever thought of the CHICKEN BURGERS, my hat's off to you!!! And the onions & tomatoes were the right toppers. The VOLUNTEERS - what an encouraging and truly interested TEAM that were really interested in our welfare. The ORGANIZERS - thank you for bringing this dream to fruition. The other PARTICIPANTS...we were all in this TOGETHER and I was humbled and lifted up by your acts of sacrifice. LOOKING FORWARD & TRAINING FOR NEXT YEAR!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
