Brews & Views

​While seeing some of Central Pennsylvania’s most scenic vistas  and beautiful hiking trails, tap, tour and try a pint at Cumberland Valley breweries and pubs! After a fantastic day of hiking , the Valley's emerging breweries welcome visitors to sample the unique flavors of craft brews.

You’ll stay in all-suite hotel in Carlisle, PA, in the newly renovated Comfort Suites® Downtown Carlisle.  Start each day with an all you can eat breakfast,  then experience guided hikes taking you to scenic vistas, well known Appalachian Trail destinations such as the Pine Grove General Store and the Doyle. Finish the day enjoying local pubs and breweries—all within walking distance of the hotel.

Friday
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Check-in at Scott Farm on the AT
1:00 - 5:00 PM: Hike the AT to vista looking out over   Cumberland County
6:00 PM: Burd’s Nest Brewing, Café Bruges
Saturday
7:00 AM - 8:00 AM: Breakfast
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Pole Steeple Vista
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: AT Museum, lunch at Pine Grove General Store
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Hike Flat Rock
6:30 PM: Molly Pitcher, Market Cross Pub Brewery
Sunday
7:00 AM - 8:00 AM: Breakfast
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Hike Hawk Rock
11:30 AM: Lindgren Brewery
12:00 PM: Lunch at the Doyle
