Explore the Moshannon and Elk State Forests, hike with KTA staff and Board members, view the elk herd in the Benezette area, and complete your weekend adventure at Gunners - a quaint hotel/restaurant in historic St. Marys, PA.

There will be 4 different hikes, a tour of the Elk Country Visitor Center, and a tour of the game-lands in the elk range. 6 meals at Gunner's, and the chance to see the beautiful elk of Pennsylvania.

12:00 PM - 5.5 mile hike in the Quehanna

7:00 PM - Dinner
8:00 PM Educational program with Game Commission 

Saturday
7:00 AM - Breakfast
8:00 AM - Depart for 4.5 mile hike
12:30-1:30 PM - Lunch & tour @ Elk Country Visitor Center
3:00 PM - 3 mile hiking tour of State Game Lands 
8:00 PM - Dinner

Sunday 
7:00 AM Breakfast
8:00 AM Check out of the hotel
8:30 AM Depart for 6.5 mile hike​
