​EVENT REGISTRATION
Registration for the 2022 KTA Trail Challenge is now open!
  • Register ONLINE or download, print, and return a REGISTRATION FORM to KTA with a check or money order.
  • KTA Trail Challenge registration is limited to 800 participants for 2022. Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • No refunds, no trades, no exchanges, no deferrals, for any reason!
  • Register before July 31st to receive the early-bird discounted fee of only $85 (50K) and $60 (25K)!
  • On July 31, the registration fee will rise to $99 (50K) and $74 (25K)
  • ​Registration for the 50K and 25K will close at 11:59 PM on Tuesday, September 6.   There will be no event-day registrations

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: The KTA Trail Challenge (event) has a No Refund policy. This event occurs rain or shine; however, in severe and extreme weather circumstances the KTA Trail Challenge may be cancelled, in order to preserve the safety of the participants, volunteers, and local community. It is the policy of the Keystone Trails Association not to refund entry fees in the event of an act of God or Nature forces a cancellation of the KTA Trail Challenge.

EVENT DAY CHECK-IN:
50k participants may check-in on Saturday morning from 5:30 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. at Pequea Creek Campground. Official event start time is 7:00 a.m. at Pequea Creek Campground. No participant may leave the starting line after 7:15 a.m. (this is a timed event).
25k participants may check-in on Saturday morning from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the Susquehannock State Park Pavilion by the ball field. Official start time is 9:00 a.m., the starting line will be at the ball field. No participant may leave the starting line after 9:15 a.m. (this is a timed event).

Event Updates and Communication

Participant instructions will be emailed to you after your registration is complete. In order that this and other important communications do not get lost, please make sure to check your spam folders and add ktaadmin@kta-hike.org to your 'safe senders' e-mail list. Note: Unsubscribing from the KTA newsletter, The Keystone Hiker, will interfere with receiving updates about the event. If you unsubscribe, please alert KTA staff, so that a separate mailing gets to you.

If you do not have an email address, the letter will be mailed. Updates will be mailed up to the week before the event. KTA cannot guarantee delivery after September 1. Please check the main event page and KTA's Facebook page before the 12th.

All Participants Will Receive

  • ​Transportation, via shuttle bus, from the Finish Line at Pequea Creek Campground to Susquehannock State Park (25k) after 12:00 p.m.
  • A KTA Trail Challenge long-sleeve tech t-shirt
  • Food and beverages at three checkpoints (1 for 25k)
  • Entrance to the Finish Line Picnic, catered by Legends Catering of York
  • Membership to the Keystone Trails Association
  • Finishers receive a carved wooden medallion

Want to cheer your friends or family on, but don't want to spend the whole day just waiting for him or her to cross the finish line? Why not help out?

KTA needs over 120 volunteers on September 10th!

​Individuals, families, and groups are welcome to participate. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. All volunteers receive an exclusive, free VOLUNTEER t-shirt and admission to the Finish Line Picnic!
