Wilderness First Aid Training

Wilderness First Aid is a two-day introduction to general medical concepts and basic life support skills. It is targeted to the outdoor enthusiast on day trips or short adventures. This course results in a certification in Wilderness First Aid and Adult CPR. More course details can be found at www.wildmed.com/course-type/wilderness-first-aid.

This course is taught by Tara Cross, a qualified and experienced WMA instructor who provides high quality instruction through a combination of classroom learning and hands on application.

The class runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day. Lunch is provided.

Much of the class will take place outdoors. Dress for the weather and bring any bottled water and snacks you may need throughout the day. The class will run rain or shine.

Discounts available for KTA members, volunteers, and trail club representatives and conservation partners, and scholarships may be available upon request.  


Registration ​Fees:
$275 ​(for anyone)
$250 (for KTA members)
$225 (for trail club representatives and conservation partners)
$200 (for KTA volunteers)


Registration Includes:
Two-day training course with lunch provided.

Not Included:
Lodging and additional meals. Lodging is available at Camp Hebron, visit camphebron.org to make your reservation.
