Letter from DCNR Bureau of Forestry - Elk State Forest, dated August 10, 2018:

"To Whom it may concern,

This letter is to inform you of a proposed overstory removal timber harvest near the Bucktail Path hiking trail located in Lumber Township, Cameron County on the Elk State Forest. A portion of this proposed sale comes within 100 feet of the Bucktail Path. A map is enclosed showing the location of the sale boundary in relation to the Bucktail Path. Additional future letters will be sent as the sale is sold and harvesting operations start.
