Susquehannock Trail
The Susquehannock Trail System (STS) is an 83.4-mile loop that is mostly in Potter County, and it is maintained by Susquehannock Trail Club. The STS passes through two State Parks and near three others via short access trails, and it traverses the large and remote Hammersley Wild Area. It crosses PA 44 and PA 144 twice each and walks through the village of Cross Fork. It can also be reached from US 6 via the short Gateway Trail.
The STS loop features two cross-connector trails, the West Branch Trail and the East Fork Trail, which can be used to form sub-loops of various lengths. The STS is connected to the Black Forest Trail via the North Link Trail and South Link Trail. Along its southern segment, the STS shares a path with the Donut Hole Trail for 8.6 miles. |
